The Little Star
My little Summer Marie.. What is there to say other then she is very cute.
When i was looking for dog breeds for my 18th birthday the thought of a Mini Aussie never crossed my mind. I was thinking Chow-Chow, Sheltie, or other dogs like that. My family had grown up with Chows so i thought i had to go that way too. Then i came across Miss Beehaven Aussies. Right when i saw the little puppies i knew that was the type i wanted. I was looking for a low shedding, small, and intelligent dog. Well 2 out of 3 isn't bad. All the sites said that they were low shedding, i don't know what Mini's they are talking about but they are not.
She was given to me all the way from Bakersfield California she took a 13 hour long car ride to get to Boise. No wonder the thought of being in the car scares her. She was only 8 weeks old and barely ready to leave. She now weighs about 15 pounds, can shake, sit, and walk without a leash.
She thinks shes a cat though always laying on the top of the couch looking out the window, ironically for cats! She hates those things. There is only one cat that she gets along with his name is Tiger. They get along pretty well.
If your looking for a good dog try taking a more serious look at Mini Aussies, but you cant have my little girl Summer!

Mini Aussies
Miniature Australian Shepherd
They are very intelligent dogs. That look exactly like the regular breed Australian Shepherds, but size is a very big difference. The average size of a Mini Aussie is about 15-25 pounds unlike the normal breed which averages between 50-65 pounds. Don't look at them as little kick me dogs either they still are able to heard small animals. They know who their family is too and if your not one of them it will take a while to be accepted by them.
Their colors are one of the things that make them so unique.
They come in coat colors of blue merle, red merle, black or red tri; all with or without copper/tan and/or white trim. It is very hard to find non tri-colored. Their eyes may be blue, brown, amber, or green. Their eyes may or may not match in color, and may be solid colored, flecked or marbled.
